The Magic of Destiny is the fourth book in the Emerald Lakes series. I had to keep going and find out what happened after the cliffhanger at the end of the third one. This is a reverse harem fantasy.
Saige Wildes is a green witch, who lives in Emerald Lakes. Her grandmother raised her and still lives on the property where Saige’s house also is. Saige owns the magic shop- The Mystical Piglet aka The Pig.
Saige now has six men in her harem. Kaito is a shifter mage. His animal is a black panther that he named Bagheera for the character in Jungle Book. Sloane is a pyro mage, meaning he likes to play with fire. Fischer is a cognitive mage, someone who can read emotions. Faris is Fischer’s twin and a blood mage. Cameron, known as Cam, is a storm mage. Yes, think of Storm from X-men. Each of the mages got a power boost from Saige. Then there’s Saige’s demon- Bram. He’s the prince of Besmet, the demon realm.
In The Magic of Destiny, we meet Hunter, Cam’s brother. Plus, we find out what happened to Sloane. Where is he? Who has him? Will Saige and her men rescue them? Who is Maven really? Read it and find all these things out.
Recommendation?
This book is on Kindle Unlimited. I do recommend reading it if you’re a fan of reverse harem books with a fantasy element. The character development in these books is so good. You have to read just to find out what happened to Sloane!
