I get a daily email from BookGorilla with Kindle books that are on sale or free. Nora Roberts’s book The Playboy Prince was on sale, so I had to get a Kindle version. I mean, I already own it in paperback form from when it was released in Silhouette Intimate Moments. Yes, I’ve been reading Nora for a LONG time.

Just a warning, this is actually #3 of the Royals of Cordina series. Yes, you need to read Affair Royale and Command Performance first to truly understand the significance and backstory of this one.
Lady Hannah Rothchild arrives at the palace in Cordina to ostensibly help Princess Eve through her pregnancy. But then Hannah is not precisely what she seems.
Prince Bennett de Cordina is the second son of Prince Armand, the ruler of Cordina. He feels trapped and just wants to escape the protocol and pomp of the castle. But he knows that Deboque, the terrorist, is most likely up to his old tricks and trying to take down the royal family. Thus, Bennett stays close to the family.

In The Playboy Prince, Prince Bennett sees that Lady Hannah is playing down her looks. He wonders why. With his reputation as a playboy, Hannah does her best to avoid Bennett, but he doesn’t make it easy. What is Hannah hiding? How will Bennett react when he finds out?
Recommendation?
This series was originally a trilogy that had a story about the next generation that was added later. If you’ve read the O’Hurleys by Nora Roberts, you’ll appreciate the cameo by Chantal O’Hurley in this story. If you like stories about families and how they pull together through conflict, then this story is for you!
