I found The Prophecy of Shadows on Kindle Unlimited. It actually came as a box set, but I’m treating each one as a separate book. It was suggested to me because I was reading the Harley Merlin books.

Nicole Cassidy has just moved to Kinsley, Massachusetts from Georgia. She’s the new girl in town and has no idea that her life is about to change. She arrives at her school to receive her schedule, when she is ushered into a homeroom in the library. I don’t know about you, but when I see the library, I immediately think of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

But no vampires here. Instead, the homeroom is filled with witches. Nicole, who has no idea about her heritage, refuses to believe it at first. Darius, the instructor, convinces her to at least try to gather energy.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
The Prophecy of Shadows finds Nicole gaining abilities that she never dreamed of. When the five of them- Nicole, Blake, Danielle, Kate and Chris- stand together underneath the comet, they develop abilities like no witch has before. They become Elementals. Then it’s off to complete a scavenger hunt that has been prophesied about over a hundred years ago. But their adventure doesn’t end there! Read it and find out!
Recommendation?
This was an interesting read. Some of the same mythical characters from Harley Merlin made their way into these. Yet, these were very different! I do like the Greek mythology touches throughout. The Prophecy of Shadows is available on Kindle Unlimited.

And in case you hadn’t figured it out, my plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. Last year, I read 150 books. We’ll see how I do this year.
