The Raven Song by Luanne G Smith

While The Raven Song came out in October 2022, I didn’t get around to reading it until December. It wasn’t that I wasn’t looking forward to reading it because I was. I was just reading lots of other books in the meantime.

A quote from The Raven Song by Luanne G Smith

Edwina Blackwood receives flowers at her shop. She thinks the flowers are from Ian Cameron, but alas, they are not. In fact, when she reads the card, the flowers catch fire. Edwina tries to stop the fire with a spell, but the spell makes it worse. Fortunately, Ian finds her and helps her find passage out of London.

Ian discovers that Edwina has a stalker and convinces her to go north with him. While in the north, Edwina takes refuge with Sir Henry Elvanfoot, whom we met in the first book.

In The Raven Song, Ian and Edwina work together once again to figure out what is going on. Who is her stalker? Have they found her in the north? How does Edwina fit into Ian’s case with the fairy folk?

Recommendation?

If you’re a fan of fantasy stories with magic and a little mystery, then you need to read this one. This is the second of a duology. It’s very well written and the story is wrapped up well. This is on Kindle Unlimited.

My plan for 2022 is to write three blog posts a week- one about a fantasy book, one about a mystery book, and one about a romance book (with some posts about series thrown in). This one is a fantasy so if you’re a fantasy lover, then you’ll want to check it out!
