I’m not sure how I found The Starlight Witch. I have read another Kim Richardson book, Shadow Witch so maybe Amazon recommended it to me.
Leana Fairchild is a witch, married to a human. She arrives home to discover her husband in bed with another woman. Leana uses her magic against her husband and leaves. Fortunately, she had just received a job offer.
The Twilight Hotel offers Leana a job as she’s a MERLIN- Magical Enforcement Response League Intelligence Network. There have been a couple of murders. When Leana appears, a new dead body has just been found.
In The Starlight Witch, Leana works to discover who is killing people at The Twilight Hotel. But who or what is Valen? Will she figure out what is going on before the Twilight Hotel closes down? Read it and find out.
Recommendation?
This book is on Kindle Unlimited. While there are some romantic elements, it’s definitely not a romance. It definitely is a fantasy with some mystery elements too. This is the start of a series, but I’m not sure that I’ll continue it. While I liked the book, I didn’t love it.
