I love being able to get an advanced readers copy of Pippa Grant, even if it’s only to torment my friends when I tell them that they are going to love the book. I mean, let’s be honest, has Pippa ever let me down with one of her books? Absolutely not. The Worst Wedding Date, her newest book, didn’t either!
Delaney Kingston arrives in Hawaii for her best friend, Emma’s wedding. Upon arrival, Emma asks Laney for a HUGE favor. It seems her groom, Chandler, and her brother, Theo, need someone to act as a buffer and keep them separated.
Theo Monroe, the brother of the bride, really dislikes Chandler, but he knows that this is Emma’s dream so he will do everything he can to make her dream come true.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In The Worst Wedding Date, Laney and Theo must get along while sharing a bungalow and helping Emma to have the wedding of her dreams. The problem is that Laney and Theo have never really gotten along. Will they be able to survive the week in Hawaii? Read it and find out!
Recommendation?
As with each of Pippa Grant’s books, The Worst Wedding Date should only be read while not drinking (because you will spit out your drink) and definitely not in a library as you will bust out laughing. Don’t get in trouble with the librarians! This book has multiple scenes of incredible humor. But there are definitely moments of heart-wrenching emotions. This one is on Kindle Unlimited and you should run to read it!
