I’m in a Facebook group that is just for books that are Pride and Prejudice fantasy variations. Because of that group, I knew when Threads of Magic by Monica Fairview was released. Since it’s the sequel to Dangerous Magic that I read back in May of 2021, I had to read it.

In this variation, the story picks up right where Dangerous Magic left off. Elizabeth and Darcy have declared their love for one another, but they are in the middle of a war. The Darcys are returning to London to the Founder’s Hall. When they get closer to London, they fear discovery by the French mages.

After the Founder’s Hall is damaged in an attack, the Mages find shelter in some place closer to home for Elizabeth and the others to train. Yet once again they are blaming Elizabeth for something to do with her magic because they don’t understand it.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Threads of Magic, Mr. Bingley was hurt during the attack on the Founder’s Hall. Will Jane meet Mr Bingley? Will their threads of magic entwine? Want to know what happens? Read it and see!

My plan for 2022 is to write three blog posts a week- one about a fantasy book, one about a mystery book, and one about a romance book (with some posts about series thrown in). This one is a fantasy so if you’re a fantasy lover, then you’ll want to check it out!
Want to see all the books I read this year? Check out my kit here!
