Most people who know me know that I love blueberries. They are my favorite fruit. So when I found a cozy mystery named Town in a Blueberry Jam, I had to get it, right?
Candy Holliday leaves the big city to help her retired father run a blueberry farm in Cape Willington, Maine. She wanted to restart her life after her marriage failed and her mother died.
Candy is getting ready for the town’s Blueberry Festival when reports come in that someone has died. While the death doesn’t touch Candy’s life really, a death in the town is unusual. So the gossip runs rampant.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Town in a Blueberry Jam, it’s not just one murder, but two. You see, the Blueberry Queen (yes, there’s a beauty contest for the Blueberry Queen) is murdered. The local handyman, who is sweet on Candy, is being framed- at least that’s what Candy thinks. Will she be able to prove that he had nothing to do with it or will she end up the next murder victim? Read the book and find out.

This one is not available on Kindle Unlimited. I did like the book, but I didn’t rush out to read the next one. It’s a very cute mystery, full of lots of blueberries (which, again, I love!). I will be eventually reading the rest of this series.
