It was either in Pippa Grant’s Facebook group or Lucy Score’s that I discovered this book by Lasairiona McMaster- Two for Interference. Someone mentioned that there were references to Pride & Prejudice in it so of course I had to read it. Plus, it’s a hockey romance!

Cleo Martinez is a curvy college girl who struggles with believing in herself. She is a bookworm who studies English literature at the University of Minnesota. Yet, when she gets a text from a wrong number, she is intrigued.
Lincoln Scott is a college hockey player, whose father is a former NHL star. He longs to do art, but his father believes it’s nothing but a waste of time.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Two for Interference, Cleo and Lincoln know each other, but both feel like the other is out of their league. Yet, when Lincoln mistakenly texts Cleo about a bra left at his place, they start chatting without knowing who the other is. There are lots of Pride & Prejudice references and even though they are mistaken in thinking that Colin Firth is the best Mr. Darcy, I still loved this book.
Recommendation?
This was my first Lasairiona McMaster book, but it won’t be my last. I feel in love with her writing style. This one is on Kindle Unlimited, along with the rest of the series. Check it out!
