Undercover Duke is the last book in the Duke Dynasty series. It was released on May 25th. I had to get it. I needed to know who was the one behind the Dukes’ deaths.
The Duchess of Armitage has married and buried three husbands, all of whom bore the title of Duke at the time of their death. This series is about her children. She gave birth to three future dukes as well as a daughter and an additional son. Undercover Duke concerns Sheridan Wolfe, the Duke of Armitage, her third son.
Vanessa Pryde is the first cousin to Fletcher Pryde, the Duke of Greycourt and Sheridan’s older half-brother. She was Grey’s closest relative once he returned to live in England. While Vanessa’s mother tried to get Grey to marry Vanessa, they both always felt as if they were siblings, rather than cousins. Plus, Vanessa has her eye on Sheridan from the moment that they met.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In the book Undercover Duke, Grey convinces Sheridan to question his aunt in regards to the mystery they are trying to solve. But in order for him to do that, he romances Vanessa. Sheridan convinces her that he’ll help her discover the playwright Juncker’s feelings for her. But what happens when Vanessa and Sheridan are forced to marry? What happens? Read this one to find out!
Recommendation?
Undercover Duke is not available on Kindle Unlimited, but it’s well worth the price! Don’t go into this one expecting a clean romance. Vanessa and Sheridan do marry, after all. 😉
