I discovered that I hadn’t read all of Pippa Grant’s books like I thought I had. You see, she first wrote under the penname Jamie Farrell. So I had to read all of those books, right? After Spiced is Unhitched, which is the seventh and final of the Misfit Brides books.

Ben Garcia was a big part of the corporate world. That is, until his partner dropped dead of a heart attack. After that happened, he sold out of everything and moved to Florida to become a beach bum. Well, he does have a job setting up chairs on the beach, but really, he’s just a bum.
Tarra Blue is the sister of CJ from Blissed and Pepper from Spiced. Tarra tries to get married only to discover that she’s still married. Evidently what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas! But when she can’t find her husband, her fiance leaves her. Did I mention that she’s pregnant?
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Unhitched, Tarra goes looking for her husband so she can get a divorce. It takes some time, but she finally finds him in Coconut Bay, Florida. Will she be able to get her divorce? Would Ben want to stay married to her since she’s pregnant with someone else’s baby? Read the book to find out!
Recommendation?
As with each of Pippa Grant’s books (even though she’s writing as Jamie Farrell), Unhitched should only be read while not drinking (because you will spit out your drink) and definitely not in a library as you will bust out laughing. Don’t get in trouble with the librarians! If you like a sitcom, but in book form, this is the perfect book for you. Trust me, all of us need a little light hearted fun right now and this delivers. This one is on Kindle Unlimited and you should run to read it!
