Valued by the Viscount by Alexa Aston

Time to return to the series The Second Sons of London. I love historical romances so I decided that it was time to revisit the series. Next up is Valued by the Viscount.

A quote from Valued by the Viscount by Alexa Aston

Reed Davenport, Viscount Boxling, is on the hunt for a wife. He thought he might have found her with Louisa Golding, but she only had eyes for Lord Danbury. Now he’s asked the Duchess of Camden to help him find a wife. Reed wants a love match, but he knows he needs an heir soon so he’ll accept someone whom he could grow to love.

Vanessa, Lady Hockley nee Hughes, married a much older stranger because her brother needed to use her dowry to pay off his gambling debts. She was never allowed to come out and lived a very isolated life. When her year of mourning was complete, her stepson threw her out of the dower house. Fortunately, Lady Danbury found her in the churchyard weeping at her husband’s graveside. Louisa convinces Vanessa to attend a house party.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In the book Valued by the Viscount, Vanessa and Reed both arrive early to the house party. Will sparks fly? Read and find out!

Recommendation?

This one is on Kindle Unlimited. I can’t wait to read the last one added to the series. If you’re a fan of the she’s been abused and he’s the perfect protector trope, then you’re going to want to read this one! I highly recommend these if you are a fan of historical romances.
