Visions in Death by J.D. Robb

I’ve been slowly rereading the In Death series, intermingled with other books. Visions in Death follows Divided in Death. This book shows the changes in Eve and Peabody’s relationship now that Peabody is a detective and Eve’s partner.

After learning about the series the first time back in 2001, I promptly read them all. At least, I read all of those books that had been released. But somewhere along the line, I stopped reading the current ones so I have needed to go back and read the series again. That’s why I’m re-reading these.

A quote from Visions in Death by J.D. Robb

Someone is killing women and taking their eyes. Eve and Peabody arrive at a scene where a woman is posed on a rock with ribbon around their neck and her eyes removed. Before long, a woman claiming to be a psychic comes to the police station, saying that she wants to help find the killer.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Visions in Death, Eve must decide if she wants to use the psychic or not. While she believes in logic and police work, Eve does work with the psychic because she wants to get the killer more than she wants to be right. There is a twist in the end…

This story is #19 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. It takes place right after Divided in Death. Just a warning- Peabody does get hurt in this one. I love how Eve gets when one of “hers” is hurt.

My plan for 2022 is to write three blog posts a week- one about a fantasy book, one about a mystery book, and one about a romance book (with some posts about series thrown in). This one is a mystery so if you’re a mystery lover, then you’ll want to check it out!
