Who Wants to Marry a Duke by Sabrina Jeffries

Who Wants to Marry a Duke is the book that started me on this series. I saw it on my daily Book Gorilla email as a deal and bought it. But then I saw it was book 3. So I had to get books 1 and 2.

The Duchess of Armitage has married and buried three husbands, all of whom bore the title of Duke at the time of their death. This series is about her children. She gave birth to three future dukes as well as a daughter and an additional son. Who Wants to Marry a Duke concerns Marlowe Drake, the Duke of Thornstock, her second son.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In the book Who Wants to Marry a Duke, we meet Olivia Norley. Grey and Beatrice offer Olivia the opportunity to explore chemistry further by asking her to determine if Grey’s father was killed by arsenic poisoning. When Thorn finds out, he determines not to let Miss Norley out of his sight. He doesn’t trust her at all.

Recommendation?

Who Wants to Marry a Duke is available on Kindle Unlimited. Don’t go into this one expecting a clean romance. Olivia and Thorn definitely have chemistry. There are sexy times, but only after they get to know one another. This is not one of those where they immediately jump into bed with one another.

And in case you hadn’t figured it out, my plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. Last year, I read 150 books. We’ll see how I do this year.
