Winds of Change by Christine Pope

So of course, I had to keep reading about Addie and Jake. Addie was taken by Lenz! Ack! Of course Jake wasn’t there when it happened either. On to Winds of Change I went.

A quote from Winds of Change by Christine Pope

Adara Grant, more affectionately known as Addie, grows up with a single mom, traveling from town to town. They move every so often because it becomes hard to hide the effect that Addie has on the weather. Tornadoes appear out of nowhere or maybe just a storm when Addie gets upset. Addie learns that her father was a warlock in the first book. Now Russell Lenz has captured her to add her to his collection in the research lab in Virginia.

Jake Wilcox found Addie in Wyoming. He even decided to move there to shelter with her, but he had returned home to talk to his parents. But while he was in Arizona, that’s when Lenz struck.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Winds of Change, a phone call rudely awakens Jake. It’s to let him know that Addie has been taken. We learn about the research facility and meet the others. Will Jake get Addie back? What will happen? Read it and see.

Recommendation?

This book is not part of Kindle Unlimited, but it’s well worth the cost. If you like witches, supernatural powers, etc, this is a book you should check out. It has a very good story and plotline. And yes, there are more books in this series, but I haven’t read past this one as of yet.

My plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. Last year, I read 150 books. I’m getting close to that this year already!
