Wonderment in Death by J. D. Robb

Wonderment in Death is 41.5 story in the In Death series. It’s the last novella, I think in the series. It has an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Okay, so I’m slowly finishing this series, even though yes, she is still writing books. BUT I’m determined to catch up! Only about 17 or so to read.

In this one, we meet Doctor Bright, who wears a hat and seems rather mad (as in crazy, not angry) with Darlene Fitzwilliams. Darlene leaves the visit with Doctor Bright and along the way to her brother’s place, she follows the instructions on the vial to “Drink Me.”

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Wonderment in Death, Louise, friends with both Darlene and her brother, calls Dallas in for the murders. Louise knows that it can’t be a murder-suicide like it appears. Fortunately, Eve knows Louise and trusts her. So now she and Peabody have to figure out what happened.

Recommendation?

Wonderment In Death is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited (I wish!). This story is #41.5 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. It’s part of the Down the Rabbit Hole anthology. Such a good story!
