You Can Die by Rebecca Zanetti

After reading You Can Hide by Rebecca Zanetti, Cari and I decided to dive straight into You Can Die. We had to see what was up with Laurel and Abigail.

Laurel Snow is an FBI agent. She went to college at age 11 so you know she’s really smart. She also has auburn hair and heterochromia. But she is not willing to compromise who she is for anyone.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In You Can Die, Laurel is back. She guest lectures in Seattle and is pulled from the class to go to a crime scene. A body is found inside a purple tent under a bridge. Valentine’s Day candy spilled out of the mouth of the victim, who had also been stabbed 40-some times. Will Laurel be able to figure out who did it? Will Huck be excited that she is setting up a permanent office in Genesis Valley?

Like Debra Webb, Rebecca Zanetti is a master at writing a complex case and adding details that will leave you guessing. This book is NOT on Kindle Unlimited, but it is worth the price. If you like complex cases with quite a few twists, you’ll want to check this one out. I’m in awe of the skillful weaving that the author does in this one. A fourth is coming out in October!
