You Can Run by Rebecca Zanetti

In 2023, my reading challenge was an A to Z challenge. December came along and I only needed an X and a Y title to complete the challenge. You Can Run is by Rebecca Zanetti and I love her Dark Protector series so I purchased this one to read.

A quote from You Can Run by Rebecca Zanetti

Laurel Snow is an FBI agent. She went to college at age 11 so you know she’s really smart. She also has auburn hair and heterochromia. But she is not willing to compromise who she is for anyone.

Huck Rivers is a Fish and Wildlife officer for the state of Washington, living near Genesis Valley, Laurel’s hometown. He is the main one for helping with search and rescue.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In You Can Run, Laurel’s mom calls her and asks for her help. It seems the sheriff is accusing Laurel’s uncle of murder. Since Laurel works mostly with profiling serial killers, she finds a way to call in a favor and travel to Genesis Valley. There she meets Huck.

Like Debra Webb, Rebecca Zanetti is a master at writing a complex case and adding details that will leave you guessing. This book is NOT on Kindle Unlimited, but it is only $2.99. If you like complex cases with quite a few twists, you’ll want to check this one out. I’m in awe of the skillful weaving that the author does in this one. I will be reading the rest of these soon.
